FOR INTRAMUROS MAGAZINE / 1

As a part of the Designers Block Tokyo event,
and in cooperation with the French Embassy in Tokyo,
the Intramuros design magazine has organized an
exhibition focused on ceramics through the works of
French designers. This material brings together
both craftsmanship and industrial capacity. The objects
that were selected according to the theme of tableware
show the parallels between French and Japanese culture
in the attention to ritual that is accorded to the
occasion of eating. The selection and combination
of these objects (whether current collections or prototypes)
produce a unique view of French design centered on dishes.
